right area

i am starting with this side because i have done the most work recently (all this weekend) to this side.

(FYI - you can click on any of the images in this blog to view a larger version of each image)

this is an overview of what i planted on friday/saturday and finished up on sunday... the size is 8 feet long by 3 feet 8 inches wide.

the following pictures start from the far left of the tomato patch area and moves to the right. i also planted seeds of nasturtium and german chamomile between the two rows of tomato plants. all the plants planted in the tomato patch (besides the tomatoes) help to keep the tomato plants healthy and bug-free (at least for the most part). the practice is called companion planting and it uses flowers, herbs and other vegetable plants to keep all plants involved happy.

overview, looking up towards the back of the yard.
